Nubia has presented its new top of the range, a device that stands out for its cameras and pioneering functions for the brand.
Nubia may not be the most famous Android mobile brand, but what is clear is that each device it launches is capable of attracting attention. This week we have seen first-hand how the Red Magic 9 Pro is the most powerful mobile phone available in Spain, and now it is the turn of the presentation from the top of the range of the mother company.
The Nubia Z60 Ultra is the most powerful, complete and advanced mobile phone that Nubia has been able to create, and that translates not only into the use of cutting-edge hardware; also in a very special design and functions that until now we had not seen in a mobile from the brand.
In fact, the use of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is possibly the most ‘normal’ part of this mobile; and yet, it manages to be special, by using a unique cooling system with an aerospace alloy plate with a vapor chamber and heat superconducting nanocarbon fiber, ideal for controlling chip temperatures and obtaining more stable performance in games. It may come with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.

But the aspect that Nubia has focused on is, without a doubt, photography. This mobile has three rear cameras, and all of them stand out due to the size of the lenses and the resolution of the sensors. The main camera is based on a 50 Mpx IMX800 sensor with a 35 mm lens and f/1.6 aperture and optical stabilization, features that should put it very up compared to the competition.
The wide angle is not far behind, since it also uses a 50 Mpx sensor, in this chaos with an 18 mm lens with f/1.8 aperture; It has automatic focus and three-level optical stabilization, something unheard of in this type of camera. Finally, we have a periscope camera with 3x optical zoom and 85 mm focal length, based on a 64 Mpx sensor with optical stabilization. All three cameras can record 4K video at 120 fps (something really rare).
But those are not the only cameras that stand out. The front camera also does this, but for another reason: because it is under the screen. In this way, Nubia offers a holeless screen, to take full advantage of the 6.8 inches of its OLED panel with a resolution of 2480 x 116 pixels and frequency of 120 Hz refresh rate, with maximum brightness of 1500 nits and 1,200 Hz touch sampling rate ideal for games. The front camera hidden under the screen has much higher resolution than others of this type, with a 12 mpx sensor that has its own image chip and AI functions to detect the background that will be used in filters and effects.
Inside, a 6,000 Mah battery with 80 W fast charging, although we do not have wireless charging. The design of the Nuba Z60 Ultra is also very striking, not only because of the straight shapes that make it stand out from the rest, also because it is the first Nubia mobile to have IP68 protection against water and dust.
The Nubia Z60 Ultra will be available with a starting price of 4,299 yuan (approximately 554 euros), and at the moment there is no information about its official launch in Spain.
