The new Galaxy S23 range will be announced by Samsung during the first quarter of next year, most likely in the first week of February during an “Unpacked” event that should be held in San Francisco. There are now many confirmations that point to this time of year that Samsung has long since chosen to launch its high-end smartphones.

As we approach this date, as usual, the rumors about what will be the main features of the Galaxy S23 range also tend to intensify, which this year too will be declined in three versions: a “basic”, a Plus and a an Ultra.

One of the most interesting rumors is certainly the one concerning the processor that will be used by the Korean company. Compared to past years, in fact, it seems that there will only be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, recently launched by Qualcomm, which could sanction a probably temporary farewell to the use of a proprietary Exynos platform which on the S22 was not particularly brilliant.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S23 Ultra should integrate an improved photographic sector compared to the current generation with a 200 megapixel main sensor joined by a new one 12 megapixel sensor with ultra wide-angle optics, a 3x zoom telephoto lens with 10 megapixel sensor and a fourth sensor, also 10 megapixel, with periscopic telephoto lens which will allow for a 10x optical zoom.

Further confirmations on this photographic sector have also arrived in the past few hours from Ice Universe, a well-known leaker that can certainly be considered a reliable source, who has added some further information. The main sensor ISOCELL HP2 of 200 megapixels, first of all, will allow to obtain photos with more detail and fewer imperfections. Improvements also for the 12 megapixel sensor which should allow better daytime shots and more natural colors.

Steps forward, considered “significant” by Ice Universe, also for the Night Mode and for the sharpness offered by the 4.10x telephoto lens. There will also be qualitative increases for the 20x, 30x and 100x digital zoom. Lastly, Ice Universe spoke of the role of artificial intelligence which will make lines, numbers and letters more natural using the telephoto lens.
