Just a couple of days after the appearance of the TENAA certification, the alleged general technical data sheet of Redmi K50S Pro has been leaked. To reveal all the salient details of the top-of-the-range smartphone of the brand controlled by Xiaomi is Yogesh Brar, a reputable leaker respectable. Of course, the star of the show should be there 200 MP main camera: it should be the first smartphone of the Chinese company with such a pushed sensor, perhaps the first ever – it will be necessary to see if Motorola will arrive first with its Frontier or not. In any case, the specifications are these:
- Display: 6.67 “OLED, 120 Hz refresh, HDR10 Plus certification
- SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, 4 nm TSMC
- Memory: 8 + 128GB, 12 + 256GB
- Cameras:
- Main rear: 200 MP
- Ultra Wide Rear: 8 MP
- Macro rear: 2 MP
- Front: 20 MP
- Battery: 5,000 mAh
- Charging speed: 120W (wired)
- Fingerprint scanner integrated into the display
- Double speaker
- Operating System: Custom Android 12 MIUI 13
We are not yet certain about the exact sensor model 200 MP used by Xiaomi. Samsung has already presented two, but none have yet been seen on a finished product. The ISOCELL HP1, which dates back to last year, will be a “thoroughbred” flagship sensor, while the more recent HP3 will have smaller dimensions and therefore will be able to capture less light. In other words, it will be of lower quality, at least a little.
Judging by the data sheet, Redmi K50S Pro will be a purebred flagship, but the rest of the photographic sector doesn’t seem particularly bold or avant-garde; also considering the positioning of the brand, which generally aims at very aggressive prices, the most probable bet seems to us the HP3, but of course these are only our speculations. For certainty we will have to wait for the presentation: for the moment we do not have a precise date.
