Motorola Moto X40, the top of the next generation range from the Alata House which will be marketed internationally under the name of Edge 40 Pro, will have a curved display on all four sides: the company anticipates it directly on its official channel of the Chinese social network Weibo. A short video confirms this and one more important detail, ie the SoC on board – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The question of the curved display on all four sides was not entirely new – the certification at the Chinese body TENAA a few days ago had shown it for the first time. But confirmation from official sources is always convenient.
Speaking of chips, Motorola (or rather: its executive Chen Jin, head of the entire Mobile division of the Lenovo group) has always shared the first on Weibo AnTuTu benchmarks: and they are very high, even higher than the already record ones of MediaTek’s recently launched Dimensity 9200 – we are talking about 1,312,901 points against 1,266,102. Coincidentally, a few minutes ago we just showed you the excellent results of the new Qualcomm flagship on another platform, Geekbench, and with another device, the alleged Vivo X90 Pro Plus.
For now, the picture on the device is still quite incomplete, but we imagine that it won’t be long before its official presentation. The international launch is expected in the first months of 2023, which implies that in China it will arrive even earlier – it is not impossible to think as early as next month.
