Galaxy S23 and related Plus and Ultra variants are finally official, Samsung announced them during a very rich Unpacked event revealing their design, technical details, prices and availability. We believe it is important at this point to deepen the topic pricesgoing to compare the new offering with last year’s related to Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. Another aspect that needs to be addressed is the promotions offered by Samsung for the first days of presale, as well as a quick analysis of used appraisals which the company has set in its maximum values ​​in the event of the purchase of one of the new models available.

PRICES: GALAXY S23 VS GALAXY S22

Not all values ​​are comparable, as Samsung has decided this year to vary the configurations of the three smartphones compared to the previous generation. In general, however, it is possible to notice how list prices have tended to grow, from an extra 100 euros for the Galaxy S23 8/128GB (and also for the Galaxy S23 Plus 8/256GB) up to the extra 210 euros needed to buy the Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB/1TB. The first represents the entry-level offer of the new range, the second the flagship model.

Values ​​that however in this initial phase of promotions they are “altered” by cashbacks applied on some models (see next chapter).

PROMOTIONS ON THE PURCHASE OF GALAXY S23 SERIES

There are two promotions reserved for those who buy the Galaxy S23 between February 1st and February 16th:

• Galaxy Buds2 for those who buy the Galaxy S23 in one of the participating e-stores (see image below, Attachment A). It is necessary to join the promotion by completing the registration (HERE) by 31 March 2023.
• up to €240 cashback with the “Double your memory” promo by purchasing between February 1st and February 16th in one of the participating stores (Annex A) one of Galaxy S23 Ultra 1TB, Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB, Galaxy S23 Plus 512GB and Galaxy S23 256GB. Membership and registration must be completed by April 24, 2023. Below is the refund value for each model that you will receive in the form of a transfer to your bank account within 45 days of the validation email:
• Galaxy S23 Ultra 1TB: €240
• Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB: €180
• Galaxy S23 Plus 512GB: €120
• Galaxy S23 256GB: 60€

With this promo (valid, remember, only until February 16), the Galaxy S23 Ultra 1TB eventually costs 30 euros less than the same configuration of Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB, the same goes for the other promoted models:

• Galaxy S23 Ultra 1TB: €1,899 – €240 = €1,659or €30 less than the S22 Ultra 1TB and the same price as the S23 Ultra 512GB
• Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB: €1,659 – €180 = €1,479or €10 less than S22 Ultra 512GB and the same price as S23 Ultra 256GB
• Galaxy S23 Plus 512GB: €1,349 – €120 = €1,229i.e. same price as S23 Plus 256GB (S22 in the same size not available)
• Galaxy S23 256GB: €1,039 – €60 = 979€or €50 more than the S22 256GB and the same price as the S23 128GB

With the purchase of a Galaxy S23/Plus/Ultra and after registering with Samsung Members you will receive one free year of Care+ coverage. A similar promotion had also been applied to the previous generation.

USED ​​SUPERVALUATION

Samsung offers the overvaluation of used Samsung with the simultaneous purchase of one of the models of the Galaxy S23 Series *. The purchase must be made between 1 February and 31 March at one of the participating points of sale or in one of the e-stores listed above in Annex A. The purchase must be registered by 21 April 2023, the valuation value of the second hand will be paid into your bank account within 10 days of acceptance of the evaluation.
