As with other Google services, YouTube undergoes minor changes over time. Typically, these changes don’t tend to revolutionize the entire user experience, but rather improve some small aspect; and it looks like we have one more case on our hands.

According to reports from Android and iOS users, the Library tab of the YouTube app for these platforms should get a little overhaul soon. Check out the screenshots below:

As said, a small change. The Playlists section would gain a layout similar to what the Historic part currently is, arranged in a carousel format. In addition, it would have a dedicated page, making it possible to organize the items on the screen alphabetically or by most recent addition.

The section just below the History, reserved for your videos, downloads and TV shows, would move to the bottom of the screen, giving way to a new category reserved for any channels subscribed by the user.

So far, YouTube has not released any official information about the availability of the changes for all users of the platform. However, some Android and iOS users have stated that it is already available on their devices.
