YouTube widgets are making a comeback on Android after many years. Following the same dynamic that we find in iOS, these widgets will allow users to access some of the popular sections of the app.

So if you frequently use YouTube from your mobile, it will help you to have the dynamics proposed by the new widgets for Android.

YouTube widgets return to Android

These are two widgets, 3×3 and 4×1 that will allow you to carry out different actions from the main page of the mobile. For example, with the search widget you can have the bar to search YouTube without having to open the app.

A search that you can carry out either by typing in the bar or by using or pressing the microphone icon to indicate the keywords with your voice. And if you want to have more than just the finder bar, then you can opt for the quick actions widget.

At the top of the widget you will find the search bar, and then you will see a series of shortcuts to go directly to the YouTube Home page, the Shorts section, the Subscriptions section or your Library.

Note that some of those sections disappear when you make the widget smaller, since you can adapt it to the size you want. So if you are one of those who like to use widgets, these new YouTube options will come in handy on your Android mobile, whether you place it on the home screen of the device or on some of the secondary ones.

A novelty that adds to the rest of the new functions that YouTube has announced in recent weeks, which changed both the interface and the dynamics of the application. If you still don’t see the YouTube widgets, don’t worry, they are gradually being rolled out to all users.
