Xiaomi 12s Ultra sees it badly in the usual endurance tests

Even the monstrous Xiaomi 12S Ultra passes under the clutches of JerryRigEverything for the usual ones resistance test, including of course the most feared of all, the bend test. The smartphone of the Chinese company survives, but by a hair: the body flexes in and you hear a couple of rather worrying creaks, and although all the components remain intact and functioning there are unequivocal signs of the mistreatment suffered.

As often happens, the main point of failure coincides with the one in which there are plastic slots for cellular antennas. The huge camera module takes up practically the entire top, but Xiaomi was careful to make sure the end of the module didn’t coincide with the antenna line. A matter of millimeters, in the end, but sufficient to guarantee the survival of the smartphone to stresses of this type.

For the rest, the tests take place without any particular surprises. The glass is scratched like on all other smartphones and the same goes for the metal body. The silicone coating (“eco-leather”) of the back is raised by insisting a little with the cutter. The huge rear glass was only tested with the utility knife and survives a bit of abuse of this kind without any problems.
