Now past the confusing stage of Twitter Blue’s new verification system and subscription, the verification system for businesses is opening up.

At the moment, it will only be in early access mode, so companies that apply will have to wait for the invitation from Twitter.

How to sign up for Twitter’s business verification program

As the Twitter team mentions, “Verification for Organizations» will replace what was known as «Blue for Business». A new verification system for companies, which is already open, as early access.

Although going through Registration Form It’s simple, the company’s application will need to go through a review. Some information that you will need to fill in are: organization name, Twitter user, company size, country, website, and an estimate of the number of affiliated accounts. And of course, you will have to accept the terms and conditions that Twitter establishes during this early access.

And if you are eligible, you will be placed on the waiting list. As confirmed by Twitter, early access will be opened to a limited group of companies in the coming weeks. In other words, at this stage of the product, access to this verification system for companies will be by invitation from Twitter. Once this happens, the organization will receive one of the benefits of this verification:

As a subscriber, you and your company will receive merchant accounts and affiliate badges through our self-service administrative portal.

Let’s remember that Elon Musk announced that this new verification system will allow companies to link personal profiles associated with the organization. For example, employees, part of the team, consultants who work independently for the company, etc.

Among other advantages, this system tries to provide more security to users, allowing companies to publicly recognize who is part of their team. In this way, no user or affiliate can pose as part of an organization or company.
