Given the variety of applications that allow finding a partner, a new platform has emerged that can work both as a substitute and as a complement. And this happens because Sparks what it allows is to keep the spark (it is one of the translations of said word) in a budding relationship.

Sparks has a wide catalog of selected experiences to facilitate couples’ activities together

In this way, and once the ice has been broken and the first contact has been made, the purpose of Sparks is to add fun and new and unforgettable experiences to the nascent relationship. Founded by Ankit Nayal, its current CEO, and based in Barcelona, its official presentation took place this week and it seeks to respond to the challenge of share activities that are interesting and enriching for both members of a couple in its first stages of existence.

Watching a movie, going out to a restaurant, planning a vacation or preparing a recipe together, Nayal explains that there are already many apps that allow you to get in touch with a new partner and start a relationship, but there was no one that would continue to help improve that relationship. It is not, as the CEO of Sparks explains, about replacing communication between the members of the couple but, instead, it is about take the hassle out of activity planningpaving the way to share new experiences.

For this, Sparks has a wide catalog of activities that can be undertaken by the couple, showing them in a similar way to the way apps like Tinder and alternatives to it work, discarding the less appetizing ones with a simple side-scrolling gesture of the information that is shown in screen.

Sparks will face a round of financing at the beginning of 2023 with which it hopes to obtain sufficient resources to add new functions to the application, thus developing a platform that the company intends to turn into a superapp capable of offering personalized experiences and helping couples with new additional services.

These may involve specific functionalities for couples who live their relationship from a distance but also to help with common finances and even with consolidated couples in which to help in their paternity.
