In itself, the news only touches us from afar, indeed it touches us: that the Galaxy A10e, a low-end smartphone which is not sold in Italy and which dates back to 2019, receives security patches that will matter little or nothing to most of you. The point, however, is another, that Samsung once again it proved lightning fast: the patches in question are those of May, and according to some reports they would be in rollout on the Korean Galaxy A10e as early as Monday 24 April.
It is a distant memory, more than the time actually passed, that of Samsung as a slow and inefficient company in protecting customers through Android patches compiled by Google. Now we are one week in advance compared to the maximum speed, to the rollout on May 1st which, however, in all likelihood would represent a record, considering the times with which the competition moves.
As mentioned, the May Android security patches are being rolled out to the Galaxy A10e active in Korea, the build is the A102NKOS3CWD1. At this point, let’s expect news by return of post on products closest to usthat Samsung also arrives in Europe ahead of the time Google updates the Pixels (both in March and April, however, it arrived particularly “long”).
