Last week, Realme launched the GT Neo 5 in China. Its main highlight was the fast charging technology with 240W, the first in the world. Under the hood, it features Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform and should receive global launch as Realme GT 3 5G.
According to rumors, the Chinese manufacturer is working on a new cell phone, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE. It should come with a new Qualcomm platform not yet announced and bring other attractive specifications.
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE should be below the standard model, which hit the market with 240W charging. It has Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 platform. This processor will be an improved version of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which equips cell phones like the Xiaomi Civi 2 and the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G.
Apparently, GT Neo 5 SE visited AnTuTu with Qualcomm’s new platform and scored 1,029,731 points. For comparison, the Dimensity 8200 scored 862,000 points. Qualcomm has not confirmed details about the chipset, but details about it are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
This is the first time a leak mentions the GT Neo 5 SE. Aside from the platform, there is no information about other specifications at this time. Possibly, it should inherit some settings from the standard variant, but only time will tell if 240W fast charging will be one of them.
