Motorola Razr 3 is shown for the first time in a short video (to be exact it is an animated gif) bounced on the net by a very reliable source, the leaker Evan Blass (EvLeaks). The next leaflet of the Winged House exhibits significant design changes compared to the two previous models.

NOW MORE SIMILAR TO THE GALAXY Z FLIP

The unmistakable and pronounced lower frame of the screen disappears, the main cameras are two (only one in the Razr 2019 and 2020), while the internal one is now placed inside a hole on the display and no longer in the notch. It is also difficult to make detailed analyzes of the fold: one can only say that in these images its presence is not so evident.

The sequence confirms forwards the presence of the fingerprint sensor located on the edge of the smartphone (see how the fingerprint release procedure is carried out). Finally, it always presents the large external display used to always have relevant information at a glance – eg. notifications – without having to open the smartphone.

In summary, the smartphone it loses some characteristic signs of the line (see chin), becomes a little more like it to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip, but also equipped with solutions more in step with the times (e.g. the internal camera in the hole).

A TRUE TOP RANGE

For the rest there are no significant specific changes that at the moment remain those suggested by previous rumors. Razr 3 will therefore be:

  • a top-of-the-range smartphone based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ platform
  • equipped with a 6.7 “foldable display (therefore larger than the 6.2” one of Razr 2019 and 2020) at 120Hz
  • equipped with a dual external camera with 50MP and 13MP sensors, and 32MP internal camera
  • available in 6/8 / 12GB and 128/256 / 512GB memory configurations
  • compatible with 5G networks and with support for NFC and UWB technologies

There is still no confirmation on the launch date and on the technical data sheet, but the diffusion of the video, in which a model apparently ready to reach the market appears, suggests that the wait may not be that long.
