Has arrived! Apple Music and TV Preview launch in Windows 11 Microsoft Store

Apple has just launched the Preview versions of two applications most awaited by users of its services: Apple Music and Apple TV for Windows. Preview versions are already available for download on the Microsoft Store and we can already see how they work, as well as their look adapted for desktops.

Apple Music Preview

The Apple Music app has been awaited since 2020, when first reports indicated it would launch on the Microsoft Store. Now that day is finally here, but the app is only available for some regions like United States and Israel.

In terms of design, we noticed that the interface is very similar to that of iTunes, with the media player at the top, lists on the left side and the main panel on the right taking up most of the screen.

Apple TV Preview

Speaking now of Apple TV Preview we have a similar look to Apple Music, but without the playback bar at the top of the screen. The interface is all white, but we believe a dark mode version should be available.

The app has a dedicated list for Apple TV Plus and the content store, as well as categories for 4K videos, TV shows and movies, as well as a homepage with recommended movies and shows.

Apple Device Preview

Finally, Apple has also released the Apple Devices Preview application, which has the following description:

Manage Apple devices from your Windows PC using the Apple Devices app.

This way, this app will allow users to manage the contents of iPhones, iPads and iPods, update their software, restore the devices with local and iCloud backups and even downgrade the operating system version using a Windows PC.

The description warns that iTunes will stop working while Apple Devices is installed on the computer, so to regain access to it, just uninstall it from the machine.

Finally, the description of all apps states that they are compatible with the Windows 11 version 22621.0 or newer and what bugs may be found in Preview editions.
