Galaxy S23: Hi-res renders confirm design, colors and more

Update (01/12/23) – JB

The Galaxy S23 line should be launched on February 1st and this has made the amount of leaks grow substantially. An example of this is that we now have high quality images of the standard Galaxy S23.

The news was published shortly after renderings revealed the complete design of the entire Galaxy S23 family. According to the folks at WinFuture, the Galaxy S23 will be sold in four colors: Phantom Black, Cotton Flower (white), Botanic Green and Mystic Lilac (pink/purple).

As for the design of the device, we can say that it is basically a refined version of last year’s model, with the removal of the traditional camera module to adopt a solution with “loose lenses at the rear” notable.

Rumors also indicate that the Galaxy S23 will be built in metal, while its back will be covered with glass. Already to give greater grip, the device will still have a slight curvature towards the edges.

On the front, the Galaxy S23 has a flat screen with few edges and a small hole to accommodate the 12 MP front camera. It is worth remembering that the flagship will have a 6.1-inch AMOLED panel with a rate of 120 Hz.

In addition, it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a 50 MP main camera and a 3,700 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Finally, the operating system will be Android 13.

Galaxy S23: image reinforces design change and compares model sizes

Some images of dummy models of the Galaxy S23 line were leaked this Wednesday (11). In this sense, despite not being functional, it is possible to get an idea of the design of the back of the cell phones and also the size. Thus, in the photo published by the user Sam Dickson you can see Galaxy S23, the S23 Plus and the S23 Ultra variant.

The design of the devices has already appeared in other recent leaks, with images of the covers released. Now, it is possible to get a better impression of the appearance of the back of the devices and the differences are not too big compared to the Galaxy S22 line.

The Ultra variant, for example, is the largest and has straighter lines, just like the previous generation. In addition, the format difference remains very clear compared to the base and Plus variants. These, in turn, have much more rounded corners and there is no curvature on the sides.

You can also notice three cameras positioned on the two smaller brothers of the S23 line. They are lined up vertically, with the main one at the top and also a little higher. The larger variant, anyway, comes with two more smaller sensors and the flash positioned between them, also vertically. That is, there are no such big changes.

It is worth remembering that these new devices from Samsung promise great advances in photography when they are officially launched. Finally, the appearance of the rear has no details other than the manufacturer’s logo, positioned at the bottom and in a centralized position.
