Samsung is busy releasing One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 and from what has been learned it intends to complete the rollout of the new version before the end of the year on all compatible smartphone models. However, this is not slowing down the updating of devices to the latest patches, as in the case of the Galaxy S22 and its Plus and Ultra variants which have received the update in various European countries, including Italy.
The update has a weight of 710MB, the changelog as often happens in these cases is rather generic, limiting itself to mentioning an improvement in the stability and security of the device. Since the release of One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy S22 family is quite recent – it arrived in Italy a month ago, to be clear – we assume there are several bug fixes inevitably present in the first version of Samsung’s new graphic interface.
