free fire is about to receive the presence of characters from the film Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse. The new crossover was announced by Garena and will feature special items for players from June 2nd in partnership with the new teioso animation. Harold Teo, producer of the game, commented:

Spider-Man™ is one of the world’s most iconic superhero IPs and has amassed a large community of fans – including our global pool of gamers. We are extremely excited to be working on this collaboration that will bring a unique experience to fans and players alike.

The partnership will also extend to the film, which will feature several easter eggs related to Garena’s game. As for the game, users will have access to limited edition items, as well as a character card collection event and an animation-inspired map.

To play, the three main characters of the work will be available: Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen and Spider-Man 2099. Among the attractions, the player will have access to a mode called “Parkour Spider” on June 9. In it, it will be possible to wear spider costumes and shoot webs at other players within a setting inspired by the city in the film.

Not only that, but a series of thematic videos will be released to show the different sides of the characters that will be present in Free Fire.
