Definitely, this year 2022, Apple has not impressed me (opinion)

Those of us who buy products or services, regardless of who provides them, have the right to have an opinion about whether or not what we pay is worth it. I am not referring to the quality/price ratio. I mean if for what I pay I am satisfied with what I acquire. This year is going to draw a blank when it comes to Apple. I have no intention of buying anything this year 2022 and if it continues like this, I will continue like this. The new iPads have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.

The iPad Pro with M2. More of the same. A blank year 2022 for me.

A few days ago, Apple presented the new iPads for this year 2022. A model with the surname Pro and one without a surname. The one that brings the most news is the one that has no surname and that, curiously, is a more affordable model compared to the Pro. Just because it is more expensive does not mean that it should bring more news. Or if. It is a topic for debate. Now what matters is that the surname Pro still is, but just because of the chip inside. We have the same M2 as the MacBook Air. That, in an iPad, of course, that we can talk about a machine that will be a leader in its segment.

However, when we really talk about Pro, we are talking about a device whose innovations are not focused on a single component. We are talking about new features in the design, screen, camera…etc. The new iPad Pro suffers from all this. Above all, it is unacceptable that the iPad is updated and the 11-inch does not get the best of the screens. We are talking about an iPad Pro!

For all this and what I have seen in previous presentations, I have to say that in this year 2022 nothing from Apple will come with me. I have almost always bought something. Every year something has caught my attention to spend money. But in this 2022, as much as I look and look, there is nothing. There is no need to spend money, just because we like Apple. You have to be critical of it and the company itself, it should analyze what is happening.

I have no doubt that it will sell thousands and thousands of iPad Pro and iPhone 14, but I think that otherwise the number of sales could be increased andespecially customer satisfaction.

It does not fit in my head, for example, that a product is launched whose screen is based on an almost obsolete technology, just because it’s not the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. It is as if the company forced you to buy a model that you do not want. It must be understood that the user may prefer the 11-inch for comfort or whatever he wants. What is clear is that if it is put up for sale, it is for a reason. But do not underestimate or make us have to opt for a model that we probably do not want.

I am a little disappointed, of course, it has been a very atypical 2022 and even with the Macs yet to come onto the scene, I’m afraid that nothing I can do and the company will fix this year which, for me at least, has been very disappointing.

I don’t know what you think, but I/we would love to read your comments.
