Despite Google’s drastic security measures on the Play Store, every day new malware manages to slip through the cracks. Thanks to applications called “dropper”, these go unnoticed because they give the impression of being applications like the others. This is how millions of users fall for it, sometimes leading to serious consequences for their security or their bank account.

Today’s malware falls into the latter category. Malware that directly targets the savings of its victims is no longer rare, and we must be extra careful every day to avoid them. According to Trend Micro researchers, the latter are indeed more and more frequent, seeking to recover bank details, PIN code, password and other sensitive confidential data.
