They should debut next month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in the international variant. Only them though, because although there is nothing official – and at the moment neither is the global debut of the two – the rumors about a separate debut for Xiaomi 13 Ultra they are more and more insistent.
And it is, after all, also there more logical prediction. Both because Xiaomi 12S Ultra has never arrived in the West (even if we were able to prove it), therefore a basic, minimal doubt that Xiaomi 13 Ultra can retrace its steps while remaining an oriental exclusive remains despite the words of Lei Jun. Both because Xiaomi usually presents its products first in China and then elsewhere, while the MWC is an international event. Therefore, it is more probable that Xiaomi 13 Ultra will debut in China and at a later time, possibly, in Europe and elsewhere.
A well-known voice of rumors, Digital Chat Station, has recently dealt with the topic. The insider wrote on Weibo about Oppo Find X6, about Honor Magic 5 and about Xiaomi 13 Ultraexplaining that the first two should arrive shortly after the end of Chinese New Year, in the time frame from mid to late Februarywhile on the third it is said almost certain that it will come later. The key to deciphering the path of theultra top of the range, now, is in how much time later. The insider just said that “Xiaomi 13 Ultra will not arrive so fast”, in reference to the forecast for Oppo and Honor.
Some rumors point to the period between the end of March and the beginning of April but if the launch is really that far away and especially if problems have occurred that have led to delays, as would have happened for example to the MacBook Pro M2 Pro/Max, make some assumptions it would prove more risky than in other circumstances. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a hefty amount of storage (reportedly 1TB), and the stunning 1-inch Sony IMX989 camera.
