The Google team is adding a new option in Meet that will make it easier for you to deliver a presentation on a video call.

An option as a help so you don’t forget your notes, and you don’t have to divide your attention on different screens.

Google Meet allows you to activate notes for your presentations

One of the functions that we find in Google Meet is the one that allows us to integrate Google Presentations. That way, we can go through the slides we’ve prepared in the Google app and deliver our presentation right into the Meet meeting.

And now this dynamic improves even more, thanks to the new update. As mentioned by the Google team, it is now possible to view speaker notes directly on the Meet screen. That is, on the screen you can have the slides of your presentation, the videos of each of the users and your notes.

That way, you won’t have to divide your attention between the screen with the slides and your notes, whether you have them on paper or on another screen. To have this new option, you only need to start the presentation and from the small control that is added to the slides, activate the notes section.

Of course, the notes will only be visible to the speaker. In these notes he will be able to add points from his dissertation, have an outline of the presentation, write down the questions he wants to ask the audience, among other options.

One detail to keep in mind is that this new feature will not be available to users with personal Google accounts. It will only be activated for customers with different Google Workspace plans, those dedicated to education and non-profit organizations.
