SNK announced this Tuesday (13) that the cross-platform, also called crossplay, will arrive at The King of Fighters XV game on the 20th of June through a Free update for all PlayStation, Xbox and PC players.
Currently, the game only offers the option to play between consoles from the same manufacturer. In this way, players who have a PS4 or PS5 can fight each other, but not opponents who have an Xbox or PC video game.
With the arrival of crossplay for the game The King of Fighters XV, players from all platforms will be able to face each other in online battles. In addition to the cross-platform feature, the title will receive the fighter Goenitz as a free-for-all DLC.
The new playable character that will be released is one of the four Celestial Kings of Orochi and first appeared in The King of Fighters 96, where he was the main antagonist and boss. See the trailer about the fighter released this Tuesday (13):
