Samsung allows simultaneous access of tabs on websites from the phone to the notebook

Since the launch of the first Galaxy Book line, Samsung has sought to facilitate the exchange of data between a Galaxy smartphone and Windows laptop. The big news announced by the company is that it is now possible to select tabs from web browsers on smartphones and quickly open them on laptops.

With the feature it is possible to continue web browsing sessions from the Galaxy smartphone or tablet to a PC (with Windows 10 or Windows 11). And to do so, the process is simple: simply link your Galaxy mobile device to the Galaxy Book via Microsoft’s Link To Windows app.

Once the pairing is confirmed, the Microsoft Phone Link app on your PC or laptop will display a list of websites that have been recently opened on your Galaxy phone or tablet. The links will open in a laptop browser window immediately.

The resource brings a lot of practicality in everyday life because, in this way, it is no longer necessary to open a web browser, go through the synchronized history section, find the web page link and open it. Website history will also be available via a flyout menu on a Windows PC in the lower-right corner of the taskbar, but it’s not the top priority.

please note that devices need to be running One UI 3.1.1 (or newer) and Windows 10 (20H1) and download Link to Window Service 2.3 or more recent.

Samsung also recommends using the same Wi-Fi network to connect Galaxy smartphone and Windows PC to use recent sites feature. The feature will roll out soon via the Windows Phone Link app and may still work when your phone is on a cellular network with internet connectivity. The new feature will roll out soon through the. The novelty is also compatible with Samsung’s new series of Galaxy Book 3 laptops, which will go official on February 1 along with the Galaxy S23.
