As expected since the beginning of the week, Xiaomi made the POCO C51 official in India this Friday (7). The new cell phone fits into the entry-level category and highlights the presence of Android Go Edition and a MediaTek platform.

The smartphone also provides a single configuration of consumer memories. You can check out his highlights below.

Main features

The C51 has a smooth plastic back, with a bump for the cameras and the flash that leaves the lens in a pill-shaped block. Here, there is an 8 MP primary sensor and a secondary VGA blur sensor. Still on the lid, more centralized, the biometric reader appears. At the front, there is a drop-shaped notch, where the 5 MP front camera is located.

This POCO comes equipped with a 6.52-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The mobile platform present here is the Helio G36, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The device still has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and compatible with 10W charging, through the adapter that comes in the box. To complete, there is Android 13 Go Edition – an optimized version for more basic devices – as an operating system.

price and availability

The POCO C51 can be found in black and blue. It will go on sale in India from April 12th, at a suggested price of INR 8,499 (~R$ 525). There is still no forecast information for arrival in other markets, such as Europe.
