Netflix brings news for Premium plan users. New features that significantly improve the user experience when watching their favorite movies and series.

From support for spatial audio in over 700 titles to an update to the download feature. We tell you all the news that you will enjoy with your Netflix subscription.

Over 700 Netflix titles with spatial audio

Netflix is finally debuting one of its most anticipated features: support for spatial audio. As mentioned by the Netflix team, the Premium plan now includes this novelty:

Netflix Spatial Audio enhances stereo audio, without the need for surround sound speakers or home theater equipment, and is compatible with all devices.

One detail to keep in mind is that this option is not available in the entire Netflix catalog. But you will have a more than wide range of titles to enjoy this sound experience, since you will find more than 700 films and series compatible with spatial audio.

For example, some titles that already have this option are “Stranger Things”, “Wednesday”, “Knives in the Back: The Mystery of the Glass Onion”, “Vigilante”, among others. And in the future, this sound will be activated in some premieres such as “Luther: Night Falls”, “You”, “Tour de France” and “Your House or Mine”.

To find out which titles are supported, just type “Spatial Audio” into the Netflix search engine. Or if you are watching an episode of a series or a movie, and you want to know if it has support for this feature, you only have to look in the title description if it has the spatial audio icon.

You do not need to enable anything in the content options to have this sound, as spatial audio will be activated automatically. And other of the novelties that come with this update have to do with the download option.

Premium plan subscribers could download content on up to 4 devices at the same time, but now the proposal is improved, since it increases up to 6 compatible devices.
