The series will have an extensive true crime saga that will tell the scandalous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s largest male strip empire, and he didn’t let anything stand in his way in the process.
The new photos show nanjiani, lewis Y Bartlett in full 80s attire and having a good time, but that good time probably won’t last long throughout the series. Based on the footage, the series appears to be a classic period piece that will entertain fans of beloved crime movies of the past.
The star-studded cast of Welcome to chippendales includes Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus), juliet lewis (yellowjackets), Annaleigh Ashford (american crime story), Quentin Plair (The Good Lord Bird) Y robin de jesus (tick, tick… BOOM!).

Jacqui Rivera is co-executive producer and annie wyman is co-producer.
nanjiani recently spoke with Vanity Fair about his experience filming the show and explained how the character is so much heavier than anything he’s played before.
“This is by far the most challenging job I’ve ever done, in terms of the length of the shoot, the content of the scenes, and the emotional difficulty of those scenes. It’s one of those things where I just jumped in and hoped it would reveal itself as it goes along and it did,” he told the site.

“My character is much more rigid than me, he is disconnected from his body, very tight. I started getting this back pain a few months after the shoot, this twisted knot. It got worse and worse and the pain would go from there to my ear.” Kumail.
