After several rumors and leaks, vivo launched a new Y-line device with a focus on cost-effectiveness: the vivo Y22s. It was first announced in Vietnam and is expected to reach more countries in the coming days.

Among its highlights is a Snapdragon platform, robust battery and an affordable price.

The vivo Y22s has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, as well as a drop-shaped notch to house the 8-megapixel front sensor. At the rear, there is a dual camera module with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Under the hood, the phone has Qualcomm’s Snpadragon 680 platform with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For power, there’s a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 18W fast charging.

In the operating system, it comes standard with Android 12 under the FuntouchOS 12 interface. In connectivity, it offers 4G and for security, there is a fingerprint reader on the side.

The vivo Y22s was announced in Vietnam with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan color options. In terms of price, the device is â‚«59,90,000 (~R$1,320).
