Huawei could be preparing a surprise for the market of screen phones folding: launch one that is priced considerably more affordable than the options currently on the market. This would be a movement that could place it in a good position in this segment that has a great future.
According to the data that has been known, this folding device could be launched under the ‘Nova’ range that the Asian company has been using for a long time to attack the mid-range of products. And, therefore, it would be quite a declaration of intent. So far, all of Huawei’s foldable phones have been released under a different nomenclature.
The possible price of Huawei’s folding
In any case, this phone is expected to come at a cost between 560 and 700 euros as much. This is quite affordable, compared to the rest of the models with a folding panel, but we must bear in mind that these prices would be for China (it would be necessary to see if they are maintained in international markets, which would be the possible key to their success).
The data that has been published is much broader and, for example, it is indicated that the terminal would have the processor Snapdragon 778G and that, if everything continues as before, mobile data connectivity would be 4G (its great Achilles heel without a doubt). In addition, it is also made quite clear that the fold would make the model we are talking about to be part of the models shell type -that is, type Galaxy Z Flip-. Therefore, the equipment would be similar to the Huawei P50 Pocket and Pocket S.
An interesting move to continue to be relevant
Until now, Huawei’s foldable phones have been quite interesting. For example, the P50 Pocket has proven to be an excellent flip phone, with a striking design and very positive behavior when using applications. The same is true of the Huawei Mate X3, of course, since we are talking about an extremely thin smartphone that hardly suffers when folded – it is even water resistant.

The firm has demonstrated its ability to develop innovative and high-quality devices, so there is no doubt that this affordable phone could be a very attractive device for users. It will be necessary to see if all this is confirmed, but this is the step that many expected to be able to access this range of products that is increasingly attractive to buyers.
