A few months ago Honor launched the Honor X8 as a 4G mid-range mobile with a design somewhat similar to the latest iPhone, which ended up going on sale in Spain. Now his brother with 5G connectivity has arrived, the new Honor X8 5G.
The Honor X8 5G is similar to the Honor X8, but has several changes beyond 5G connectivity, which comes hand in hand with the modest Snapdragon 480+. Some specifications change downwards, while the battery grows to 5,000 mAh capacity.

Now with 5G, but with an HD+ screen
The Honor X8 unfolds in 4G and 5G versions. We have known about the 4G version for a few months, to which is now added an Honor X8 5G that change the Snapdragon 680 for a Snapdragon 480+ with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Of course, it is not the only change.
In the Honor X8 5G you get better connectivity, but in return the screen, which is this time a 6.5-inch LCD, has HD+ resolution and maintains the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The Honor X8 has a Full HD+ screen at 90 Hz.
Another change in this 5G model is found in its front camera, which is 8 megapixels and is located in a teardrop notchinstead of being perforated. The main camera of the Honor X8 5G is also somewhat more modest by dispensing with the wide angle.
We therefore have a triple camera with 48 megapixel main sensor, with a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait mode. The camera module is still a 2 x 2 grid design.
What you gain with the Honor X8 5G apart from 5G is a higher battery capacity: 5,000 mAh capacity and with support for 22.5W fast charging. The fingerprint reader is on the side and for some reason it is still launched with Android 11, with Magic UI 4.2 on top.
Versions and prices of the Honor X8 5G
Honor lists the new Honor X8 5G on its website and in its subsidiary in some markets, although without a price yet. The only thing we know about it is that it will be available in the blue and black colors and initially in a single version of 6 + 128 GB. We will be attentive to update this entry if we know more news.
