Galaxy A34 appears in new leak revealing rear design and possible specifications

Rumors released in November pointed to the possibility of Samsung being in a new affordable smartphone belonging to the ‘A’ line, a category that includes intermediate devices with a focus on cost-effectiveness. Apparently, the model in question is the Galaxy A34, which had new information shared this week.

According to speculation, the cell phone must be equipped with the Exynos 1280 chipset — octa-core up to 2.4 GHz with 5 nm lithography — with the Mali-G58 video card (GPU) and 6 GB of RAM memorywhile the internal storage must offer 128 GB of capacity with a slot for expansion via microSD.

As renderings show, the A34 should share a look similar to the Galaxy S23, the flagship that should be made official in February at the Galaxy Unpacked event. On the front, a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and 90 Hz refresh rate is expected.

At the rear, the next intermediate from the South Korean brand should sport a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor and two auxiliary lenses. The autonomy must be met by a large battery with 5,000 mAh compatible with fast charging of still unknown power.

Like other details about the smartphone’s technical sheet, price and availability also remain unknown, however, more rumors are expected to emerge soon.

Galaxy A34 appears in leak with renderings and first specifications

In a post shared this Thursday, the well-known OnLeaks brought the first renderings of the future Galaxy A34. The smartphone is in an advanced stage of development and should be released soon.

According to the leaker, like other devices in the 2023 Galaxy A line, the Galaxy A34 must also lose the camera module to use a “loose sensors” solution in the rear.

That is, the same look that caught the public’s attention on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, for example. The front has a display with a wider bottom edge and a drop notch to accommodate the selfie lens.

Check it out below:

As a more affordable smartphone, the Galaxy A34 should have a digital reader integrated into the power button, while there is also a USB-C and P2 port for wired headphones at the bottom and a SIM chip tray at the top.

Now, when it comes to the technical specifications, the smartphone should come out of the box with AMOLED screen approximately 6.5 inches. The Galaxy A34 should also have an Exynos line processor and versions with 4G or 5G connection.

Finally, we should also expect a 48 MP main camera, a battery of around 5,000 mAh and native Android 13 running under the One UI 5.0 interface.
