Now that the good weather is here and many of our readers will go on vacation – here you can see the best apps for this summer – we want to recommend an application with social overtones that will surely make your summer days more interesting, especially if you have the opportunity to travel .

Esplorio is only available for iOS at the moment

It’s called Esplorio and, although it is only available for iOS, it is worth knowing about it. Perhaps you are one of those romantic people who liked to take a notebook when they went on a trip and wrote down all kinds of memories, phrases, thoughts… and could also paste photographs, tickets to the places they had visited, etc. .

esplorio

Well, Esplorio allows you to make that travel log digitally, without the need to carry any notebook. It is enough to carry the smartphone prepared during the vacations to to be able to create those travel notebooks 2.0

In Esplorio, as in any social app, you can create a profile and personalize it with a description and a photo. Later, within your profile, you can open folders with each of your trips, both past and those you are currently enjoying.

In these folders you will be able to save photos, videos, publications from other social networks, inspiring phrases… which are ordered chronologically. You can also leave comments or activate a map so that the route you have been taking during your trip or how far you have walked is recorded.

You can send your trips to your friendsor give them access to see them in real time (you are the one who decides if your trip is public for everyone or just for some people) with which you will not have to send them photos, since they will be able to see them as you upload them to Esplorio.

Of course, you can also follow your friends or other Esplorio users to see where they are traveling in the world. As you go through countries, you will get badges in the form of a flag for your profile.

Esplorio is one of the apps that we have recommended in the section where we collaborate in Futura, Cuatro’s new science and technology program, presented by Carmen Porter. You can see all our interventions in the TreceBits in the Media section.
