From my point of view, there are three things that have revolutionized the world of technology in this 21st century: massive access to the Internet, the mobile phone and the application of AI in the creation of texts and images.

This last point is extremely recent, but it will change the way we teach, learn, and create, as well as the way we have access to information.

ChatGPT is an example of what I am talking about, although at the moment its access is very limited, interrupted by server saturation, without a defined business model, and with many investors behind it interested in integrating the platform via API. In @chatgpt_esp I am commenting on its utilities tweet by tweet.

The fact is that there are already reports indicating that OpenAI began to implement a premium version which will cost $42 per month, and which will offer:

– Less unpredictable availability.
– Better response times.
– Priority access to new features.

It apparently costs $100,000 per day to run our friend ChatGPT, so a business model needs to be found quickly. If 10% of current users decide to pay the $42, they will already have the cost covered and make tremendous profits, leaving investors extremely happy.

OpenAI has not yet ruled on the subject, it has not confirmed it (or denied it), but some screenshots have already been leaked that show that option to “upgrade to premium” in some users.

Meanwhile, Google has already confirmed that they will show something similar shortly, and Microsoft, one of the investors in ChatGPT, will integrate it with Bing. Elon Musk, who is also an investor in ChatGPT, has yet to comment on this avalanche of interest.
