O Europeian Paulo Ribeiro shared on his Twitter profile a experience lived after forget your AirPods Pro headphones at the gym you go to. O resident of the city of São Paulo used the Buscar application to retrieve the accessory.
According to the reportwhich went viral on social media, Paulo monitored the accessory through the app for about 10 days. The person who found the headphones also used to go to the gym and kept the product without fuss, and did not seek the owner to return it.

Paulo then proceeded with his monitoring bythe app Buscar (Find My) to follow the precise position of the headset for more than a week until waiting for the moment to act, when the indicated location was very close.
The day of the reunion happened when Paulo noticed that the AirPods Pro were very close to his location at a business address. Ribeiro then decided to go in search of his accessory to try to recover what he lost at the gym.
“I pressed the bell and to my surprise when I was answered at the reception I was sorted to the seller”. Paulo realizes that the man used to go to the same gym and opens the app to play sound on the second generation AirPods.
“When I saw that it was making noise I said: ‘boy, it’s ringing’. He removed [o fone] from his pocket and put it in his hand, I promptly took it from his hand and identified myself as the owner”. Paulo also reported that the man was using the AirPods Pro with an Android device.
Although the headphones were marked as “lost” in the Search app, Android smartphones don’t play the message chosen by the original user and don’t display a sentence or owner information like on the iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Paulo’s account caught the attention of many people on social networks, who were very impressed with the usefulness of the Buscar app and with the outcome of the situation, considering that Paulo managed to find the lost headphones.
