If you’re curious about what the Nothing Phone has to offer, you’re in luck. Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) has posted a video in which he shows off the phone.

The Nothing Phone (1) It won’t be released until mid-July, but the video gives us a glimpse of the unique LED lighting system that will be on the back of the phone. Apparently, this system is made up of “more than 900 LEDs” in five different matrices.

The Settings app on the Nothing phone offers a number of different styles that can be applied. Each one is unique, since lights up different areas of the phone and can be applied to specific apps or contacts.

The Nothing also incorporates unique features when it comes to taking photos or recording videos. The Glyph matrix can be used as “fill light for cameras” providing users with a little extra light when they need it.

There is also a flashing red LED on the back that appears when a video is being recorded.

Lastly, MKBHD showed off some of the charging features that are tied to the lights on the back of the Nothing Phone. When in wireless charging or reverse wireless charging, the lights around the wireless charging pad will turn on.

And when a USB-C charging cable is connected, the lights on the bottom of the phone illuminate not only to show that the phone is charging, but also to provide an indication of how much battery power is available.

Definitely, the Nothing Phone could be one of the most curious devices of the year.
