Apple is launching, this time it is the new Mac Mini in which the M2 and M2 Pro processors are incorporated. In this way and in the words of the developers themselves, the device arrives repowered and with great new features, to top it off at a fairly affordable price for both versions.
Likewise, the company presented the laptops 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
Apple Mac mini M2 and M2 Pro
Returning to the main topic, Apple promises a beastly performance from the M2 and M2 Pro chips and in which greater speed, unified memory and an incredible price-quality ratio stand out. But let’s go one step at a time, starting with the Mini M2 model that comes with an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU. In addition, it is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, which gives you Allows you to connect up to two monitors.
Regarding the mini M2 Pro the data varies significantly, for example, this design comes with a 12-core CPU and a 19-core GPU which clearly duplicates what is offered by the most basic model.
The same happens with the Thunderbolt ports, which here are four, allowing you to connect up to three monitors or one 8k monitor depending on preference. In both models they coincide two USB-A ports, a single HDMI port and an Ethernet port with a capacity of 10 GB. Added to this is connectivity Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, spoke highly of both chips, especially highlighting the excellent relationship between quality and price and added the following:
“With the incredible capabilities and variety of connection options in its compact design, Mac mini is used in many places and in many different ways. Today we are happy to go one step further with the M2 and M2 Pro chips.”

Officially, both the new Apple Mac Mini M2 and the Mini M2 Pro can now be reserved at the Apple StoreHowever, deliveries begin starting January 24. Regarding prices, The M2 goes on the market for 719 euros and the M2 Pro will sell for 1,569 euros.
