A man, 40s, has been seriously injured following a shooting in Dublin.
The incident happened near a hotel in the south-inner city at around 11.30am this morning. Gardai are currently at the scene of the shooting.
It is understood that the man lost a large amount of blood and is fighting for his life. Dublin Live has contacted gardai for comment.

Man shot in south Dublin
A man is believed to have lost a large amount of blood following a shooting in south Dublin. A huge garda investigation is under way as the man is fighting for his life.
The man, in his 40s, was shot near a hotel this morning.
