The 11th generation Rocket Lake processors were introduced by Intel in 2021 and they will be discontinued soon. As announced by Intel, the chips will only be provided for orders placed by August 25, 2023. 400 and 500 series chips will also be discontinued.

According to Tom’s Hardware, the last batch of processors discontinued by Intel will be shipped by February 23, 2024. After this date, 11th generation chips will continue to be available from partner stores while supplies last. The discontinuation of 11th generation chips is expected to cause their prices to drop as supplies run out, so this could be a good opportunity to pick one up if you find a good deal. The successors of the Rocket Lake chip generation is Alder Lake, which was announced by Intel in January 2022 and already equips several notebooks and PCs.
