How to hide applications on an Android mobile

It’s unnecessarily complicated to hide apps on a phone, and Android 12 doesn’t have support for it. So, for now, the only real option you have to achieve this goal is to use a Samsung, Xiaomi or OnePlus mobile. This is because the OS of these smartphones has the ability to cloak apps.

How to hide apps on Samsung phone?

– Enter the “Display Settings” section, which is in the “Settings” section.

– Being in «Display settings», scroll down and click on the «Hidden applications» option.

– Select the app you want to hide from the home screen and the app drawer.

– The app you want to hide will appear in a box at the top of the screen, just confirm to hide them.

Cover up apps on Xiaomi mobile

– Enter the “Security” app.

– Scroll down and find the “App lock” option, tap on it and set the requested lock pattern. With this you will activate the armor of apps and you will hide the applications that you want.

– Now, go back to the main security app and open the “App Lock” option.

– Two sections will be enabled, choose the box on the right that is called “Hidden applications”.

– Choose the app you want to hide.

Hide apps on a OnePlus smartphone

– From the home screen, swipe up to access the app drawer.

– Drag to the right, an eye-shaped icon will appear, release your finger to enable the “Hidden Space” section.

– Click on the plus “+” icon that is in the upper right corner.

– Choose the apps you want to hide.

– If you want to add a password in “Hidden Space”, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and then select “Enable password”.
