Thanks to the Google manager you will be able to know on which devices your account is still logged in, as well as detect if there is an intruder.
Android phones have been present in the lives of many people in Spain for more than 10 years. These devices have evolved a lot over this time, and have become essential devices for work and leisure for many people. However, they have an expiration date, and whether on a whim or out of necessity, you have to change your smartphone from time to time.
Google has a device manager that is capable of offering information about the status of each of the mobile phones, tablets and even headphones with Fast Pair that have been paired with your Google account. However, if you have never cleaned your devices, it may be that the first Androids that were purchased appear incorrectly.
Luckily, Google allows you to make this list smaller so that it is easier to manage each of the registered devices and thus have an updated record. It is enough to eliminate those smartphones that we no longer have, or that are so old that they will no longer be used again.
How to remove devices
To do so, you just have to go to the Google application and click on the profile photo and then click on the Manage your Google account button. There, you have to go to the Security section, and once there, click on the Your devices button, which will open the administration menu.
Here you can see all those mobile phones, tablets and even computers and browsers in which you have logged in – and have not closed yet -, so that, on any of these, you can still access information such as emails , data saved in apps and even some account settings.
Therefore, if the device is not going to be used anymore, it is best to delete it from here, and if at some point it is needed, which is usually unlikely , log in with the Google account on it. If it is used with some regularity , it is fine that it appears here, since this process will not have to be repeated.
Beyond removing old devices, this is a good way to find out if there are any unauthorized people who have your Google account on their mobile or tablet. If you do not recognize one of the devices that appears in this list, it is best to change the password, which will close the accounts on the devices, forcing them to enter the new one that has been chosen.
