Completed the rollout on a large part of the high-end and medium-high range Galaxy, Samsung to keep its promise to deliver One UI 5.0 and Android 13 on all eligible products, it is committed to low-end and/or not too recent products. Like this Galaxy A51 5G, M32 and F22 get Android 13 after an even shorter wait than some top-of-the-range competitors.
Too bad for her security patches of the firmware M325FXXU4CVK6 and E225FXXU4CVK4 of Galaxy M32 and Galaxy F22: they are those of October 2022. It’s definitely better for Galaxy A51 5G: the firmware A516BXXU5EVL2 contains those of December 2022. The rollout of One UI 5.0 and Android 13 for the first two is underway in India, while reports arrive for the last one from Europe especially from France, Switzerland and northern regions.
It is reasonable to expect news arriving in a short time for the other Galaxy A51 5G active in the rest of Europe, including Italy. For the notification of the new firmware it could be days from the first reports. So if you want to try to speed things up, it’s better to manually check from time to time if there’s any news, regardless of whether or not there are reports of a rollout in Italy, from Settings – Software update – Download and install.
