The release in such a short time of new RC versions, on the one hand indicate that in the previous ones, evidently, there were still some problems to solveon the other hand, the public distribution of these versions of Apple’s operating systems would be imminent now. Likely it could happen early next week.

The beta testing of macOS 13.4 Ventura, we recall, began last March 29, the day after the release of version 13.3. At the same time, the first betas of iOS and iPadOS 16.5, watchOS 9.5 and tvOS 16.5 were also released.

In previous betas of macOS, six in total at this point, there were reports of network issues manifesting themselves using firewalls like Little Snitch, Radio Silence, or others. At the moment, however, any problems that were present in the previous RC version are not known.

This is the complete changelog of macOS 13.4 Ventura:

  • The My Sports score and Schedule tabs in Apple News take you directly to pages where you can find more details about specific games
  • Fixes an issue where Auto Unlock with Apple Watch doesn’t let you sign in to your Mac

HOW TO INSTALL IT

As always, betas can be installed via the “Software Update” menu in the system “General” settings, using the OTA mode. However, starting with the next major release, which will be announced at WWDC in early June, an Apple ID associated with a developer or public beta tester account will be required in order to download and install beta versions.

Apple made this decision to improve the security and quality of the betas, ensuring that only authorized users can access them. However, Apple has also implemented the possibility of using a second Apple ID to download a beta on a Mac, while the main account can be used for all other functions.
