Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt Red, previously confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 would follow in the footsteps of The Witcher 3 and release a complete edition with all previously released content. Phantom Liberty – the game’s upcoming expansion – is also confirmed to be paid DLC, which creates a plausible scenario where the developers may have decided to release the game on Game Pass as a marketing initiative to get players to try out the game and buy the DLC. later, as Game Pass Ultimate does not offer additional game content such as DLC or season passes.
