With just over 24 hours left for the presentation of the vivo S17 line, the Chinese manufacturer published new teasers about the devices on Chinese social networks.
According to vivo, the main novelty of the S17 line is the presence of a new light ring at the rear. The company explains that, unlike traditional flashes, this ring allows you to adjust the color temperature before capturing a photo in poorly lit places.
This feature is particularly useful for taking portrait photos, as impressive photos only depend on skillful manipulation of light.
As for the rear set of cameras, the vivo S17 line should have the main 50 MP sensor (Sony IMX766) as a highlight. In addition, the Pro model features a 12 MP portrait lens, and the software recognizes scenarios to adjust the color temperature of the light ring.
Finally, all must have a 50 MP front camera, which will be aided by a dual LED flash present on the upper edges. It is worth remembering that the Pro model must have a Dimensity 8200 processor, but the standard variant adopts the Snapdragon 778G Plus.

Vivo S17 passes through Geekbench with Snapdragon 778G Plus, 12GB RAM and more
Confirmed to launch this Wednesday, the standard vivo S17 underwent benchmark testing last weekend. The preliminary record was discovered this Monday morning.
According to Geekbench, the device bears the number V2283A and has Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processorand it works in conjunction with 12 GB of RAM and Android 13 by default.
As a result, this set scored 817 points in the single-core test and 2607 in the multi-core test.
In the field of other specifications, previous leaks revealed that the vivo S17 should come out of the box with a simplified design and a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
In addition, it will be sold in variants with 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and storage of 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB.
On the rear set of cameras, the main sensor will be 50 MP, while the secondary is an ultrawide 8 MP. For selfies, there is also a 50 MP front lens.
Complete the set, the battery of 4,500 mAh with support for fast charging of 80W. For now, the price remains uncertain, but it shouldn’t differ too much from what is charged for the S17e.
