He Google Pixel 7a it’s likely the next phone Google announces in the next two months. Unfortunately for Google, someone else has already gotten hold of one, taken a ton of photos of it, and shared specs and features.
the vietnamese site zingnews has the photos and details of this Pixel 7a. They claim that a source in Vietnam got hold of the phone and flashed it, causing Google to immediately remotely block it. However, they have been able to get a lot of details out before that happened.
The Pixel 7a will carry a 6.1″ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of storage and a 12MP dual camera setup with wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses.
The frame is supposedly metal with glass in the rest. The Pixel 7a has a single SIM card slot, but it will most likely have eSIM support as well.
Design-wise, it matches the design of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which makes sense since the Pixel 6a matched the styling of the Pixel 6 family. It looks good, with its horizontal bar housing the cameras and its minimalist body that should fit well in the hand.
