Redmi K60 it will be the heir to the current K50 model announced by the Chinese brand last March. He has already been talked about on several occasions, anticipating his alleged technical characteristics. And now we also have the official presentation date: December 27th.
Next Tuesday, therefore, we will discover all the details of the brand new smartphone, indeed, of the range of smartphones, as K60 will be only one of the models that will be presented. First of all it should be noted that, unlike K50 there will be no gaming version as the technical characteristics they will already be basic enough to guarantee high performance even during the most intense gaming sessions – so says the company on Weibo. “The entire series focuses on ultra-high performance“, reads one of the posts.
According to Digital Chat Station, there will be three variants:
- K60E will be the heir of K50 | Size 8200
- K60 will replace K50 Pro | Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
- K60 Pro will be the new model of K50G | Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
So the Pro version will replace the Gaming one, thanks to the high performance guaranteed by the second generation Snapdragon 8 platform. Confirmation is also given by the official Redmi account on Weibo, and always on the Chinese social network, the company anticipates other details:
- RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X
- internal memory: 512GB UFS 4.0
Previous rumors add that one of the expected models (presumably K60) should be equipped with a 48MP main sensor camera with OIS, QHD + display, 5,500mAh battery and 67W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.
Redmi K60 Series will be announced on December 27 at 19:00 Beijing time, 12:00 in Italy.
