We return to the fray with the announcement of new headphones, in this case from the Barracuda family. On the one hand we have the new Barracudathe BarracudaPro and an update for existing ones Barracuda X.

Let’s start with the BarracudaPro, which I already told you, will bite you in your pocket since we are talking about €289.99 headphones. The most premium member of the family comes with hybrid noise cancellation (ANC) technology, whether we are inside or outside the house, it is always very appreciated to achieve total isolation from any noise outside our own.

In addition, the Pro They have SmartSwitch Dual Wireless technology that allows us to have the peripheral connected to two devices at the same time. Something that may seem silly at first but is incredibly practical because, for example, you can have it synchronized to your PC and mobile at the same time and be able to exchange without having to unlink one to put the other. The same if we are on the street with a portable device and we also want to have the mobile linked. Practical without a doubt.

The whole family Barracuda It comes with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology and Bluetooth 5.2. For its part, the Pro comes with 50mm Razer TriForce Bio-Cellulose diaphragms in addition to an amplifier, with THX Chromatic Audio Amplifier technology to offer maximum audio clarity, perceive all the details and a great signal-to-audio ratio. In addition, they offer THX Spatial Audio sound for great surround sound.

The Barracuda (€189.99), so to speak, have the same drivers and THX Spatial Audio option as the Pro. Like its luxurious brother, they come with the option of SmartSwitch Dual Wireless and have a battery that will take us up to 40 hours of use (same as in the Pro). In addition to the absence of noise cancellation, the Barracuda has FlowKnit memory foam ear cushions while the Pro takes it up a notch by offering plush faux fur memory foam cushions.

For his part, the Barracuda X (€119.99) is updated and will now have the SmartSwitch Dual option and an improved battery, which will now reach 50 hours. The peripheral has 40mm Razer TriForce drivers with support for 7.1 Surround sound. Another interesting option of these Barracuda X is that they are the lightest of the family, they only weigh 250 grams compared to 300 of the Barracuda and 350 of the BarracudaPro.

In addition, the X and the normal ones can connect to our devices through a 3.5mm jack and the Pro They do not include this option. In addition, the microphone of the X is removable (micro cardioid) while the Barracuda and the Pro It is integrated and also has noise cancellation.
