Oppo Reno9 has already been talked about on several occasions, what seems to be its sales package has also appeared on the net (some doubts remain, however), then one of the expected models was photographed live and the first alleged technical characteristics also arrived.

Like any self-respecting rumor, however, it is fragmentary information, partly the result of speculation rather than a real knowledge of the product. Digital Chat Station tries to tidy up Weibo, so let’s see what are the new details that can help us rebuild the data sheet. On the contrary, the technical data sheets, given that there will be three smartphones in the series.

RENO9 SERIES: THE EXPECTED FEATURES

Let’s start with the expected models, which as mentioned should be three and be called Oppo Reno9, Reno9 Pro and Reno9 Pro +.

OPPO RENO9

  • mobile platform: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
  • rear cameras:
  • 64MP main
  • 2MP
  • battery: 4.500mAh with 67W charging

OPPO RENO9 PRO

  • processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max
  • rear cameras:
  • 50MP main Sony IMX890
  • 8MP (ultra wide angle?)
  • battery: 4.500mAh with 67W charging

The live image that was believed to refer to Reno9 Pro shows however three rear cameras: it could therefore be the Pro + variant. It will be our responsibility to investigate this aspect.

  • rear cameras:

To these data we add what emerged previously and which concerns all three smartphones. Also note that Reno9 Pro and Pro + should be equipped with MariSilicon X ISPs, and that Reno9 and 9 Pro should be 7.19mm thick and weigh 174g (Pro +: 7.99mm and 192g):
