Interview with the Vampire inaugurated a fashion that would later take up the superpopular saga Twilight. Without imagining it, the adaptation of the novel by Anne Rice would reach a great level within the universe of horror films and would become a classic.

With a cast of actors already recognized in the industry such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Christian Slater Y Antonio Banderasthey were joined by a small actress who would become one of the best performers of her generation: Kirsten Dunst.

As it could be noticed, some changes are going to be made with respect to the original novel of Rice, more than anything in the role of Louis, who would no longer be a slaver of the late eighteenth century but a black man who lives during the early twentieth century in the city of New Orleans. Daniel Molloy from Bogosian (the journalist who conducts the interview and is played here by Eric Bogsian) for his part, is older than the one he accused in Anne’s work that was published in the 70s but was only brought to the big screen in 1994.

The new series follows the epic story of love and blood marked by the immortality of Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anderson) that is told to the journalist Daniel Molloy (Bogosian). Irritated by the limitations of life as a man in New Orleans in the early 1900s, Louis finds it impossible to resist the offer of the rakish Lestat de Lioncourt (Reid): join him as his fellow vampire. But these new powers of Louis will have effects that he will not be able to foresee, adding to this the appearance of the vampire girl Claudia (Bailey Bass), which will connect him with a dark and violent past.
