The Chinese manufacturer’s latest flagship, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, was launched in China this week. In recent days, early reviews report that it may be the best Android device for photos today.

However, this did not stop Xiaomi from improving the device. The device received its first updates, which promise to refine the camera’s performance.

A day after its release, two MIUI 14 OTA updates were made available to users. The main focus is to improve the performance of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra cameras, which are its main attraction.

The first MIUI 14.0.7.0 update weighs in at 6.5GB and brings two security packages from Google, with the optimizations including zoom tweaks and distance fixed focus in street photography mode.

The second MIUI 14.0.8.0 update is smaller and weighs only 87 MB. Even though it seems simple, Xiaomi asks all users to update immediately, promising improvements in the user experience and greater stability in the system, in addition to optimizations in capturing images.
