As widely estimated, Xiaomi has formalized the mid-cycle update for the top of the range presented last December. Like this Xiaomi 12S And 12S Pro are official, accompanied by the variant “ultra” (12S Ultra) who had surprisingly deserted the previous appointment and from a review of Xiaomi 12 Pro which comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip.
The three new Xiaomi 12S proceed on the line drawn by their predecessors, that of the collaboration with a brand of weight in the field of photography which is Leica. On this front, what stands out is – understandably – Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which actually represents a Xiaomi 12S Pro with a focus on photography. Surprising – and this aspect was also announced – the one-inch sensorthe Sony IMX989 which on paper promises very well.

We hope to have the opportunity to try it in the field, since the new Xiaomi are all official in China and for the moment there is no any information on their availability in Europe. Another introduction are i chip Surge from Xiaomi, the P1 that deals with fast charging and the G1 that manages the battery (both on Ultra, only P1 on the Pro). In short, the reasons to be curious to try them are not lacking.
